I recently had a shuffleboard shipped from this company, weighing 1100 pounds. The company called to schedule the shipment, and said it would be delivered curbside. The morning of the shipment, the company called me and asked me if I had a loading dock (I'm at my house in a residential neighborhood). I replied no and they stated that I was responsible for getting the boxes off of the truck, which I have never heard of before. There was no mention of this in the initial call when I set up the shipment. So then I had to reschedule the shipment for the following day, take the day off work, and get my brother to meet me at the house to help with the unload. The next day I get a call 10 minutes before they show up at my house (they were supposed to give me an hour heads up), and they only have 1 of the 6 boxes in the shipment. The driver knew this because the first thing he said to me was "yeah there was only 1 of the 6 boxes in the truck, so not sure where the other ones are". The fact that they wouldn't check the shipment to make sure they have all the boxes or call me before they showed up boggles my mind. This was a huge hassle because I had scheduled a crew to set up the table in the afternoon, which I had to cancel and pay a $50 cancellation fee. When I called the freight company, they didn't know where the rest of the boxes were and said they would "look into it and call me within a few days". Absolutely terrible communication and customer service from this company. I will never use again.
