I am a thirteen-year-old eighth grader at Harmony and from my point of view it's a pretty fantastic community to learn, socialize and grow up. The way fun and socializing and strong academics interact is close to perfect. The community is accepting and close. However, this is a school for kids who want to learn; It doesn't work when kids are very much opposed to educating themselves. This isn't because of teachers slacking off, it's because of the way the school is organized which is normally very beneficial, except for when kids aren't willing to learn. I'll be frank, the school can often feel a little bit disorganized but if you can get over that it's a pretty amazing place to be.
I went there from kindergarten until 6th grade and that school is amazing.
We are headed into our second year at Harmony and we love it! My child's teacher has kept in touch over the summer, we already have the schedule for the fall and my kid can't wait to go back to school! The staff is amazing - they donate so much free time for the kids. The community is healthy - parents volunteer to make the school better. But the best part? My kid is always tired at the end of the day and loves every minute he spends there. Never have I experience a place where so many children are inspired to learn!
