Perkins is a staple in Anderson like Gene's Root Beer Stand. They have served good food in this community for decades. They recently remodeled the place and it looks great. A facelift was just what this place needed. If you haven't been to Perkins in a while, you need to come back. It's great!
This was one of the best experiences with dining I’ve had in awhile. Both my Mother and Daughter have never had Perkins before, so on our short trip I decided to take them to try it out. The food was great. I had the steak and peppers and added two over medium eggs....Their food is not like most typical corporate chains such as Bob Evans and iHop. The steak and peppers were very reminiscent of a home cooked meal, the steak did not taste chewy and frozen packaged like you would expect from others. We all enjoyed our meals tremendously, and the owner and staff were probably some of the nicest people I have met. They were very down to earth, compassionate and kind. I am definitely going to stop in here every time I am in town. Thank you for the wonderful evening and fabulous meal towards the end of our trip! It made a huge difference in our day.
One of our go to breakfast spots. Newly remodeled bright and open. Great breakfast combos as well as lunch and dinner offerings. The bakery has pies and cakes while or by the slice. I'm partial to the muffins. Served fresh and warm. Cookies and eclairs too. Located near I-69 on Scatterfield road.
