this daycare was quite possibly the most unprofessional place I have ever had to deal with. From the initial look it looks somewhere nice to send your kid to. It is run by a nice older lady, she employed her son, and his wife to work for her. Mrs. Tacker is the sons wife, she is a great teacher, but it makes it incredibly hard for the kids to learn when her husband is verbally abusing her through her classroom door while her pre school kids are trying to learn. He also verbally abuses his mom throughout the day. He has no care for these children, and it is sad. He is selfish, and only cares about the money. My poor kid was forced to eat food she wasn't even able to chew up. And my friends kid was sick with the flu throwing up all day long, and she was told nothing. There was a major head lice outbreak, and not a single parent was notified because the daycare was worried they would lose money. The sleeping cots were not cleaned, and the lice had spread to many kids.Also, I had a friend of a friend whose daughter way employed here they never ran a background check on her for the 8 months she was employed there. They made her put a "small world" magnet on her car and drive around terre haute picking kids up from school. I would never ever feel comfortable with this. There are many more stories in which she had to share but the ones I have shared are horrific enough. Save your time, and do NOT send your kids here if you want what is best for your kid. Small world is bound to get shut down, these people who run it are awful. They don't care about the kids when you know what really goes in in that building when you aren't around.
