I normally don't do this but I feel I need to this time. I took my 4 year old here because the reviews showed very positive results but I did not receive that same result. Maybe this place is good for adults but definitely not children. First impression was nothing exciting, no play area or anything for kids but that wasn't a big deal. It was the experience after, that made this not the place for my children or in my opinion any young children. First, I was told my daughter's mouth was to small to get an x-ray which she said was no big deal but then the dentist wanted one done anyways. They did this with me away from her. They told me I had to be far away from the door which I thought was odd but I went with it and during the x-ray my daughter started hysterically crying. It wasn't a scared cry it was a painful cry. My mother heard her all the way in the waiting room and thought she was getting a shot because of how she was crying. When I came to the room to see my daughter fell out of the chair because she ran so fast to hid behind my legs and when I asked my daughter what happened she said they hurt her. That she forced the plastic thing in her mouth really hard and it hurt. Now, my daughter has had x-rays before and was great with them. I feel they don't have the proper equipment for children and forced something that was meant for an adult mouth in my little girls mouth with no concern on her pain and never once did she ask if she was okay or show any concern towards my daughter as she cried and clung to me. If that wasn't enough, they also only use the papoose board which they said has to be done but I have done my research and a lot of places find them to be very traumatizing on young children. I expressed my dislike towards it but they informed me they have to at least try it or insurance wont cover alternative options which i also was informed through other dental offices is a lie as well. Needless to say, they don't care about the child's experience at all. If you are an adult then you are probably fine going there but don't put your children through the experience my daughter dealt with, it just isn't worth the fear it places in the young children. I only wish I would of demanded to stay during the x-ray to prevent my sweet girl from having to get hurt like that.
