Tuchman Cleaners

If there was an option for no stars I would have chosen that. Based on my recent experience they do not deserve any rating other than unaccpetable. I have used Tuchman Cleaners for a long time. Back in March I took my dining room drapes for cleaning. After paying for the drapes and getting home, I open the bag to find both drapes were shredded during cleaning. The called the store the next morning as soon as they opening (Saturday) and was asked to come in on the following Monday to complete a claim form. After months of waiting and being told while dropping off clothing for cleaning that someone would be in contact and call (they never did), I call the store for an update. When I called the store, I was asked by the manager to let her call their office and for me to call her back. When I did she asked I not get mad at her but that Tuchmans would not taking care of the claim due to sun damage on my curtains. She gave me the home office number and said whoever answered was familiar and could answer any questions. After calling and speaking to someone, the gentleman tells me he needs to have someone else call me. No one is offering to reimburse for dry cleaning, compensate for the damage done to my custom curtains or give any general customer service. It is unacceptable for a company provides service to not make the situation better. I DO NOT recommend Tuchman Cleaners for anyone to use as they will not stand behind their service.
