I will not use Van's to install anything in my home again. The installers who showed up to install my bathroom vinyl floor were unprofessional and did poor work. They damaged the vinyl trim with scratches and holes and cut the ends poorly. Additionally, the cuts around the toilet and pipe were not that close and allowed for water-damage in the future. They also just didn't install a piece around the vanity for whatever reason. I complained enough that a different installer came back to fix the problems but it took over a week and several e-mails/phone calls to get it done. Meanwhile, my family and I got to smell sewer gas while we waited to re-install our toilet on a job that should have only taken one day instead of a week and a half. Brittany, in the flooring department, actually asked me to pay for the whole job a week before it was even scheduled to be done because the whole flooring dept. was taking a trip to Mexico to be trained. Apparently, I got a sub-contractor in the flooring dept. who was not important enough to be trained in Mexico in flooring and it showed :( So glad I did not pay for the job before it was done so I could withhold payment on the flooring until it was done correctly. The whole process was annoying, unprofessional and over-priced ... though you'd never know for sure how much any of it costs because the bill did not include any monetary values assigned to materials or labor, just the total cost with vague descriptions. I actually ended up paying more for this crappy installation because they took new planks from my spare pile to fix the planks the first installers used and messed up. Van's offered nothing but an empty apology to compensate for any of my troubles or additional cost.
