Great trail. I see they're doing some concrete work around the benches along the trail. The concrete still had forms around them and still looked wet. Some of the concrete pads had foot prints and initials carved into them already also. Smh. I'm curious what they're adding to the bench areas. I'm not sure if it's going to be an empty pad for wheelchair, stroller, or bicycle parking while resting; or if they're going to put trash cans on the pads. Either way it's nice to improvements being done. I would like to see an X path paved thru the middle of the loop, and maybe an addition of a gazebo in the middle. The addition of paved cross paths thru the middle of the loop would create additional options for exercise and/or a shortcut to getting to the river overlook decks. It also looks like more trails are being cut thru the surrounding woods for the frisbee golf course, or as a wilderness trail. Kudos to the work being done, presumably by the city parks dept. Another great addition would be a major upgrade to the children's playground equipment. Currently there is just a slide, climbing wall, and some swings, prior to entering the paved path/trail.
