Okay, how to rate something that is very seasonal. Spring migration is just beginning so there were cranes, few, but then there was not a crowd watching. Fall migration is huge, both in birds and in the people who come out to watch. Lots of parking, several places to view from, the best is the raised platform (maybe 20" up). There is accessible parking next to the platform, and a wheelchair ramp to the top, with several cuts in the railing for wheelchair use. Free telescopes (2? or 3?). There is a walking trail with a quiz for the kids and the answers at the information board at the end. It can be a fun way to keep the kids occupied and to challenge a group.
