This place is AWESOME!! True SMALL TOWN INDIANA CHARM
Prices are UNBEATABLE! Items are for the most part a-la-carte, with certain "meals" pre-priced. Also be sure to look at the white board for the days specials for a good home cooked meal.
AT A GLANCE... this place would be easily passed up. It's not a commercial chain or dressed up diner. It's an old gas station with no defined parking places. The ancient pumps are still there and at times we will see a confused traveler stop in for gas station services that are non-existent.
ONCE INSIDE... You'll be greeted by a a friendly passing waitress that will instruct you to take a seat anywhere. You'll realize quickly that the waitresses treat you more like family when you're there. We've seen and met some of the many regulars, all of which are also very friendly and willing to talk to you if you sat with them.
OVERALL... if you're passing through on your way to or from Bloomington on 45, stop in and see for yourself.
Also easily accessible location from I-69 at the 445 exit.
